How to build a website using Google Sites

I built this website using Google Sites -- and you can build one too! I've also created brochure style websites for a few small businesses and portfolio style websites for myself and some friends. 

Whenever I come across a friend or family member who is looking to create a basic website (or struggling with the website builder they've chosen), I recommend them to use Google Sites. I love Google Sites because it's cheaper (free) and easier than other website builders I've tried while still having plenty of useful and cool features. I only pay for the custom domain (~$12/yr) to connect it to my site. 

While I enjoy helping friends and family get their websites started, it's hard for me to schedule and dedicate time to help everyone individually -- especially as I continue to make more friends who need portfolio websites! To scale up my ability to share my Google Sites knowledge and guidance, I decided to do a live tutorial session on my Twitch channel and condensed the recording to this 45 minute YouTube video so that I can direct anyone interested in building a website with Google Sites to this video:
